Buying US dollars in HCMC

Hi I need to Exchange for some US dollars for a trip. I'm in HCMC and was wondering where I would find the best rates. Someone suggested jewelers shops, but where? I know ANZ bank give a terrible exchange rate. Thanks for your help.

Try Ha Tam Jewelry Shop at the corner of Phan Chu Trinh - Nguyen An Ninh St (the street on the left of Ben Thanh Market). Usually sell @ average rate between bank's selling and buying rate.

You can go to Nguyen Huu Cau street, Tan dinh ward district 1, HCMC. This street has many jewelers shops to foreign exchange.

The other Foreign owned bank is HSBC across from the Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral in D1.
