The Mid-Autumn Festival, known as Tết Trung Thu in Vietnam, is especially meaningful for children. Families prepare mooncakes, fruits, and lanterns, and children often parade through the streets with star-shaped lanterns while singing traditional songs.

In many neighborhoods, lion dances are organized. Groups of performers, usually children or teenagers, dress as lions or dragons and go from house to house, dancing to the beat of drums. It's believed to bring good luck and happiness.
